С����Ƶ “Leather Splitting” blades are unique in their manufacturing process. These blades were specifically designed for specialty applications such as splicing leather. This unique blade may also be used for thin cuts of re-bond, foam, rubber, packaging materials, insulation, carpet re-cyclying, textiles, and cork. “Leather Splitting” knife blades possess a high carbon content, mined from European ore. The unique metallurgical structure of our steel is exclusive to С����Ƶ, resulting in holding the knife edge longer than other products in the market. С����Ƶ pays particular attention to “Leather Splitting” welding process, which insures the weld hardness is the same as the blade’s hardness. At the same time our welds deliver strong bond, which withstands higher feed rates, and provides extended blade life. The finishing process includes inductive heat tempering, to increase material hardness, then a final polishing process is implemented to insure proper, precise tracking.
